Western Bulldogs cult figure Bailey Smith has left fans giddy with his latest photos posted on Instagram.

His famously fierce rig was on full display while posing in front of the camera recently as part of a campaign with his apparel sponsor Cotton On.

Smith’s figure has been plastered up on billboards around Melbourne recently and his latest shoot showcases a different side as he poses for swimwear with his back to the camera.

It coincides with other photos he has posted recently as his pre-season training scales down ahead of the Christmas break shut down.

Smith returned to training last month looking absolutely jacked.

Smith’s post included a separate close-up photo which showed the incredible definition in his abs and stunning vascularity with his veins doing their best to pop out of his skin.

Good luck to any teammates that have to do a skinfold test or BMI measurement after Smith.

“Levels there hombre,’’ Smith captioned the photo.

It is little wonder Smith has become the most-followed AFL player on Instagram with his army of supporters now creeping to more than 364,000.

Smith has posted plenty of shirtless photos previously, but this latest one will have his followers in awe.

Smith is in a relationship with Gemma Dawkins and, after months of rumours, they made their romance Instagram official in September.

Smith has previously spoken about his efforts to keep his private life private, despite his enormous social media presence.

He last year revealed battles with mental health and some horrifying aspects of being such a high-profile figure.

He has previously been a victim of a viral, fake nude-photo scandal and revealed he is repeatedly hit up with private message requests, including a text message offer of $50,000 to sleep with someone.

Smith announced in December he was taking “indefinite leave” from football to deal with a family matter and personal issues.

The Bulldogs granted him extended leave over summer to train by himself away from teammates.

His turbulent year included some impressive performances for the Bulldogs as the team snuck into the finals. However, he was also suspended for two-matches under the AFL’s illicit drugs policy following a league investigation into a video which appeared to show Smith sniffing an unknown substance.
