Anyone familiar with Andre 3000 knows that the singer has a way with words; on the front of his clothes. The musician is famous for donning creative jumpsuits that have messages scrawled across them that shout to the world with he really thinks, and most of them are very politically charged. And while most people who wear clothes that go on to be famous end up with their stuff auctioned or kept in museums, Andre 3000 has 47 pieces of his own clothing headed straight to Miami’s Art Basel.

The pieces are going to be part of something that’s all new at the annual art and fashion festival. Called, “I feel ya: SCAD + Andre 3000 Benjamin,” presented at the Savannah College of Art and Design, the pieces are going to show off the singer’s affinity for political statement and his creativity in getting his message across.

“As I initially thought about displaying this collection, I immediately knew that I wanted to work with my longtime collaborative partners at SCAD. The diverse group of people that come to Miami for Art Basel Miami Beach and the right audience to see this for the first time,” was the statement issued by Andre 3000 when he announced that his pieces would go on display for the world to see.

He’s the creator behind the line of jumpsuits, creating each piece for the Outkast 20th anniversary tour. He made the decision to create each piece so that it had a message that could be delivered to not only his fans, but to the rest of the world. Each message is short, sweet and to the point, which is just part of the reason the messages are so impactful (and completely awesome). Now even more people will have the chance to see what messages he’d like to get across.
