Bones star David Boreanaz admitted last week to cheating on his wife of eight years and the mother of his two children. He did it in an attempt to thwart what he called an extortion attempt by an unnamed ex mistress who was being represented by celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred. Allred represents a club promoter named Rachel Uchitel who is rumored to have received a $10 million payoff in exchange for not divulging the story of her affair with Tiger Woods to the press. Uchitel has been linked with Boreanaz in the past, so everyone assumed that she was the one allegedly trying to squeeze money out of him. Only then it came out that Allred’s client was an entirely different woman who also slept with Boreanaz, meaning that he’s had at least two affairs that we know of.
In his last statement to People, Boreanaz admitted that “our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities,” and said that he and his wife were trying to work “on repairing what has been damaged so badly.” Fair enough, he takes responsibility and is trying to make sure he doesn’t come out of this looking like the serial cheater he is. Only now he can’t leave well enough alone and had to come out with a follow up about how sad and hurt he is. On Wednesday, the creator of Bones, Hart Hanson, Tweeted a short statement on behalf of Boreanaz, who claims the woman was trying to extort money from him to keep their affair quiet.
Hanson wrote: “David Boreanaz has asked me to express to fans his sincere pain, thanks for support, and determination that his family will ‘get thru this.'”
Boreanaz, 40, and Bergman, 34, wed in 2001. The couple has two children – Jaden, 8, and Bardot, 9 months.
As RadarOnline.com has previously reported, this is not the first time Boreanz has had an affair. He also had a relationship with Rachel Uchitel, the woman who would later become known as Tiger Woods mistress #1. Bergman was pregnant at the time of her husband’s affair with Uchitel. Boreanaz has said he is working to repair his damaged marriage.
Both Uchitel and Boreanaz’s unnamed mistress are being represented by Los Angeles powerhouse lawyer Gloria Allred, who has adamantly denied any implication of wrongdoing.

They only care about their families when faced with losing them. Many of them also play the victim card, as if this is something that happened to them instead of a pattern of terrible behavior they engaged in.
