Machine Gun Kelly had planned to celebrate its one year anniversary since release but because his dad ‘took his last breath’ he had no other choice but to take a break from everything social media and mourn.

His pained caption reads: ‘I had plans for the one year anniversary of Hotel Diablo today…that album was everything i wanted to say and i know it’s close to my fans. But my father took his last breath this morning, and I have never felt a pain this deep in my life. I am setting my phone down. love you. thank you guys for everything.’

While it was very clear that he was heartbroken and in shock to lose his parent all of a sudden, this was all MGK was willing to share with his fans about the tragedy.

That being said, he did not mention what the cause of death was.

The sad news comes as the singer had been making headlines over his new romance with none other than actress Meghan Fox.

Despite the fact that their relationship is rather new, they seem to be really close already so it would not be surprising if MGK would lean on Meghan during these dark times.
