The hotel boasts exciting contemporary cuisine, and is especially renowned for its leisurely Sunday brunch (10am until 5pm). For CUC 12 (£10) you can help yourself to fresh seasonal fruit, yogurt with muesli, croissants and rolls with homemade marmalade, eggs cooked any style, bacon, artisanal cheeses, mini lobster sandwiches, plus freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juices. At dinner, be sure to try the 'Que chevere' (how cool) – for shrimp in coconut milk with cilantro and mandioca purée. There are also grade-A mixologists at all three bars. One of the bartenders, Luisito, is also a Habano sommelier (cigar sommelier), and every cocktail is named after a Cuban song. They also offer cocktail classes, cooking classes and rum, cigar and coffee pairings.

Breakfast is included for all guests and can be had at any time of day anywhere in the hotel. It consists of ham, cheese or veggie omelette with baguette, juice or smoothie and coffee; or bacon and eggs, toast and coffee; or baskets of bread and viennoiserie with butter and homemade marmalade and freshly squeezed juice, coffee or tea. Also on order à la carte is their amazing ‘Amor Bonito’ – a twist on the poke bowl with plain yoghurt , oatmeal, peanuts and tropical fruits.
