A Brisbane woman has praised a $19 Bunnings item after it helped her clean her home.
Lauren took to TikTok to rave about her trip to Bunnings after seeing the trick for cleaning glass windows with the Morgan spray mop.
“The universe was speaking to me today because low and behold the exact mop I needed was at the end of the aisle,” she said.
She filled the mop with half methylated spirits and half water, sprayed it directly onto the windows with the in-built spray bottle and wiped it down.
“I’m pretty sure this whole thing took me 15 minutes max as well. Surely more people know about this,” she said.
“Our windows are literally shining and everything only cost $25.”
The mop cost $18.99 with the rest of the cost attributed to her cleaning solution.
The Bunnings website states that the mop is suitable for most hard floor surfaces and the “microfibre pads are reusable and machine washable and will leave your floor clean and streak free. ”.
Jess, who runs a social media account dedicated to cleaning, said using the combination of the spray mop and methylated spirits made it easy to clean the notoriously difficult spot.
May, from New Zealand, was impressed when she found her flat mate using one of the Morgan mops.
“I’ve never seen anything like this before,” she said.
Social media users were also impressed by the use of methylated spirits.
“Taken people a long time to realise metho cleans glass. We use it religiously at work for glazing,” one person commented on the clip.
