A new video allegedly shows Michael Jackson jewelry shopping for one of the young boys who accused the pop star of sexually abusing him. In Leaving Neverland, Jimmy Safechuck held up a ring and stated that he participated in a mock wedding with Jackson. His hand shook as he showed the band and diamonds to the camera. While many of Michael Jackson’s supporters believe the two accusers featured in the documentary (Jimmy Safechuck and Wade Robson) are lying, others were swayed by Jimmy Safechuck’s story.

TMZ unearthed video that allegedly showed Michael Jackson in a disguise buying jewelry for a child. According to the report, the child is Jimmy Safechuck.

It’s unclear whether they were shopping for the ring that Jimmy Safechuck displayed in the HBO documentary, but an earlier report indicated they didn’t buy jewelry that day. According to TMZ’s report, the media found out about the shopping trip due to Michael Jackson’s disguise. Apparently, they suspected he was there to rob the place.

The following is from TMZ.

“Surveillance video from a Zales in Simi Valley showed Jackson wearing a costume that included a phony mustache, fake teeth, and a wig. Security thought he looked suspicious and actually stopped Jackson, thinking he was going to rob the store. Several media outlets covered the story back then because it was Michael Jackson getting questioned as a potential thief.”

An earlier report tells more about what happened and how they discovered it was Michael Jackson. According to the original article that was dated May 3, 1989, Michael Jackson was wearing a wig, a fake mustache, and even fake teeth. After store employees called the police Michael Jackson revealed he was in disguise due to his fame.

The original article clearly states that they were looking at rings but finally settled on a pair of heart-shaped glasses and toy figurines.

TMZ are now reporting using that exact same CCTV footage of MJ looking for a ring with Safechuck like it's a new thing – he cites it in his lawsuit! He also did NOT buy a ring while shopping.https://t.co/kktjKVnO8j

What do you think about this report? Does it make you believe Jimmy Safechuck’s story about having a mock wedding with rings? Or do you discredit the story as many of Michael Jackson’s supporters do?
