It has been revealed by Dell Curry that he recently got married after his divorce from Sonya, as the father of the Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry spoke to the press.

Their divorce was a high-profile affair that had seen them accuse each other of adultery and much more. It got so bad that Stephen called out to his younger brother, Seth, to let him know that he still cares about the Philadelphia 76ers player.

It was even reported that the father and oldest son had drifted apart due to the divorce storm, although they appear to be okay and still active together.

The decision to divorce had been filed by Sonya in a North Carolina court, and at the time they said that the decision had been a thoughtful consideration and were sad their marriage had ended.

But it would appear that Dell has wasted no time in getting on with his own life and has subsequently remarried after deciding to remain on the Eastern Seaboard of the United States.

"Yes," he said to the Charlotte Observer. "It's great. I didn't know what I was going do (after the divorce). I thought about going to the West Coast. I'm like, "Nah, I'm not going to follow my sons. I'm going to stick it out. Hang here.

"Then I had friends who introduced me to my wife now. I'd met her a couple of times. We talked on the phone for a month before I laid eyes on her. I'm like, 'Oh, I like this girl, man. What's going on here?'

"I wasn't going to get married again, but life is great right now. It couldn't be better. For me, I'm at a great place in my life. My home situation is sound. My kids and their families are doing great. They're happy for me. I'm happy for them. So life's good."

Sonya seems set to move on

Sonya was snapped at the Warriors game against the Boston Celtics during the NBA Finals in June as she cheered on her son in his quest for his latest championship ring.

Fans on X, formerly Twitter, quickly spotted the seemingly new pair at the game and commented on the matter on the social media platform.
